追検査tsuikensamakeup exam
What it means
If the student cannot sit 21 February because of influenza or another school-designated infection, because the junior high has ordered them to stay home, or because of something that is not their fault and a third party can confirm, the junior high applies for a makeup exam (追検査, tsuikensa).
