All of: (1) in principle, holds Japanese nationality; (2) lived abroad for 2+ years because of a parent's work; (3) 2+ years at a local or international school abroad (Japanese schools and kindergartens do not count); (4) returned to Japan on or after 1 December 2024, or will return; (5) born 2 April 2013 to 1 April 2015.

Japanese original (出願資格)

次の要件を全て満たした者。①原則として、日本国籍を有する者。②保護者の勤務の都合で2年以上海外に在住した者。③現地校またはインターナショナル校に2年以上在籍していた者（日本人学校・幼稚園は除く）。④2024年12月1日以降に帰国した者、または帰国予定の者。⑤2013年4月2日～2015年4月1日までに出生した者。

Born 2 April 2013 to 1 April 2015 and finishing primary school by 31 March 2027; holds Eiken grade 3 or higher (obtained at any time).

Japanese original (出願資格)

①2013年4月2日から2015年4月1日までに出生した者で、2027年3月31日までに小学校を卒業または卒業見込みの者。②実用英語技能検定（以下、「英検」）3級以上を取得した者（取得時期は問いません）。
