Who may apply
Born 2 April 2014 to 1 April 2015; a parent holds Japanese nationality and was or is posted abroad for work or training, and the child lived or lives abroad with them; and either (1) at application, as a rule no more than 3 years since return, with 1+ year in total at schools abroad during compulsory-school age, or (2) currently abroad with 1+ year in total at schools abroad by 1 April 2027.
Japanese original (出願資格)
2014年4月2日から2015年4月1日までに生まれた者で、保護者が日本国籍を有し、勤務や研修等で海外に在留していた、あるいは在留中であり、本人がその保護者に帯同して海外で生活していた者、または生活している者。なお、次の①もしくは②の要件を満たすこと。① 2027年度入学試験の出願時点において、日本への帰国後原則3年以内で、日本の義務教育期間中に、海外の学校に通算1年以上就学した者。② 現在海外に在留し、2027年4月1日までの日本の義務教育期間中に海外の学校に通算1年以上就学した者。
