Who may apply

All of: (1) at least 1 year abroad, counted on 20 November 2026; (2) no more than 3 years since return (back on or after 20 November 2023, or still abroad); (3) the child of a parent with Japanese nationality posted abroad or similar, having gone abroad with them for work at an overseas organisation, or for research or training; (4) finishing primary school by March 2027.

次の要件をすべて満たしていること 1. 1年以上海外に滞在し、2026年11月20日時点でその期間を満たしていること 2. 帰国後3年以内（2023年11月20日以降に帰国、または現在なお在留中）であること 3. 日本国籍を有する保護者が海外勤務者等であり、その子供であること ※海外の機関・事業所への勤務、または海外での研究・研修を目的とした出国に帯同していた（している）こと 4. 2027年3月までに小学校を卒業または卒業見込みであること
