Math (算数) the way Japanese schools teach it: two pre-school courses for ages 4–5 and 5–6 (年中, 年長) with questions read aloud, one course per school year from grade 1 to grade 6, and a course for the junior-high entrance exams. Units follow the national curriculum's order, each with a lesson, practice and a short check.

中学受験を考える小学4年生が、計算・文章題・図形・データの考え方を順に練習するコースです。四谷大塚が公表する予習シリーズの学習予定表を参照し、関連する回を16単元にまとめた進学マップ独自の構成です。教材本文や過去問は使っていません。各単元では例題を読んでから基本・逆算・複合問題を解き、単元チェックで確かめます。塾の進度と異なる場合は、必要な単元を選んで復習してください。公開カリキュラムの参照先：https://www.yotsuyaotsuka.com/kyozai/?type=normal（2026年10月23日確認）。

  1. Unit 1Free

    Order of operations, calculation tricks, and times-and-division word problems計算のきまりと、かけ算・わり算の文章題

    計算の順序・くふう・逆算で式を速く正しく計算し、「何倍か」「あまりをどうするか」を考えて文章題を解ける。

  2. Unit 2

    Angles: straight lines, parallel lines, triangles and quadrilaterals角の性質と三角形・四角形の角

    一直線・対頂角・平行線・三角形の内角と外角・四角形の性質を使い、図に角を書きこみながら求める角を出せる。

  3. Unit 3

    Large numbers and rounding大きな数と概数

    位をそろえ、指定された位のすぐ右を見て四捨五入する。

  4. Unit 4

    Decimals, fractions and inverse operations小数・分数の計算と逆算

    通分してから計算し、逆算は最後の計算からもどす。

  5. Unit 5

    Sum, difference and mixed groups和差算・分配算・つるかめ算

    全部を同じものと仮定した差や、線分図の差を使う。

  6. Unit 6

    Excess, shortage and differences過不足算と差集め算

    配り方1人分の差と、全体の余り・不足の関係を整理する。

  7. Unit 7

    Intervals and repeating patterns植木算と周期算

    間の数と物の数を区別し、周期は組と余りに分ける。

    Sequences and patterns等差数列と規則性

    増える数と、最初から何回増えたかを分けて考える。

  9. Unit 9

    Multiples and divisors倍数・約数と分け方

    余りなく分けるのは公約数、同時にそろうのは公倍数を使う。

  10. Unit 10

    Plane and composite areas三角形・四角形と複合図形の面積

    底辺に垂直な高さを選び、面積を分けたり引いたりする。

  11. Unit 11

    Circles and sectors円とおうぎ形

    円周と面積を区別し、おうぎ形は中心角の割合で求める。

  12. Unit 12

    Volume and surface area直方体・立方体の体積と表面積

    体積は底面積×高さ、表面積は外に出ている面の和と考える。

  13. Unit 13

    Percentages割合・百分率の入口

    何を100%とするかを先に決め、比べる量と区別する。

  14. Unit 14

    Speed and units速さと単位換算

    道のり・速さ・時間の単位をそろえてから式にする。

  15. Unit 15

    Counting arrangements and selections場合の数：組み合わせと並べ方

    順序を区別するか確認し、重複を除いて数える。

  16. Unit 16

    Charts and averages表とグラフ・平均

    グラフの目盛りと単位を読み、平均から合計にもどす。
