Bunkyo ward (文京区) has not published the detailed April 2027 daycare guide yet. On the licensed-daycare top page, read on 7 October 2026, the ward says the application period is planned as Thursday 12 November to Monday 30 November 2026. It says the details will be posted on 1 November 2026.
Until that guide is up, do not treat 12–30 November as a finished rule. The page does already say which employment certificates count: one issued on or after Wednesday 12 August 2026. A certificate issued on or before 11 August has to be replaced.
The same page says selection results can arrive by text message (SMS), and that the ward may also text you about missing documents. Read the linked SMS notice before you rely on a text.
Bunkyo's admissions desk is the nursery section on the 12th floor of the Civic Center (幼児保育課入園相談係, 03-5803-1190). Check the site again on 1 November, and verify the window with the ward before you file.
